Controlling a Browser with elm-webdriver, by Jose Rodriguez [09.20.2016]

This is the third talk from the third Elm Remote Meetup, Controlling a Browser with elm-webdriver, by Jose Rodriguez.

It's about his tool elm-webdriver.

I hope you enjoy it. If you do, the best thing you can do to help make sure we can do these going forward in perpetuity is to subscribe to DailyDrip or tell a friend about us that might be interested.

Description

I was using a browser and the javascript webdriver API for collecting screenshots of a webpage automatically, but was making way too many dumb mistakes that broke the process constantly: Elm to the rescue. After building a solid library for controlling browsers using selenium and Elm, I worry no more. This talk is about my experience building a large Native module and also will shortly showcase what the library is capable of.
